The Webster University golf team shot a third round 309 to wind up at 938, good enough for a second place finish in the 2015 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.  The Gorloks, the 2014 champs, shot their low round for the tournament but they couldn't overtake first place Spalding University at Aberdeen GC in Eureka, MO, on April 21.  Tyler Thorman shot a tournament third round low of 73 to finish third

Webster, winners of the tournament three of the last four years and a conference high six times overall, shot rounds of 317 and 312 on day one to fall 16 strokes off the lead.  Though they shot their low round of the tournament in the third, it wasn't enought to overcome the Golden Eagles, who kept the pedal to the medal with a 303 to finish at 916.

Thorman (JR, Macomb, IL/Macomb HS) shot a 75-80-73 to finish at 228.  Brodie Dakin (JR, Macomb, IL/Macomb HS) shot a 74 and finished fifth in the tournament at 232 (82-76-74).  Those finishes earned Thorman and Dakin spots on the 2015 SLIAC First Team All-Conference honors.  This is the second straight year both have earned First Team honors.
