The Webster University golf team shot a 309 at the MacMurray Spring Invitational on April 6 at The Links in Jacksonville, IL. Jay Hargis (SO, Highland, IL/Highland HS), Jon Hughes (SO, Gardner, KS/Gardner Edgerton HS), and Tyler Thorman (JR, Macomb, IL/Macomb HS) all tied for the team lead with 77 in the one round event.
Hargis, Hughes, and Thorman all finished tied for 11th in the field of 36 golfers. Webster finished tied for third with host MacMurray College with the 309 finish.
The Gorloks head to Memphis, TN, to play in the Rhodes Spring Classic at Mirimichi Golf Course on April 13-14. That will be Webster's last tournament before the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on April 20-21 at Aberdeen GC in Eureka, MO.
