ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University women's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest WBCA NCAA Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll. They moved up four spots to 32^nd in the latest poll after receiving seven points. Christopher Newport (Va.) University currently ranks at the top of the poll with a 22-0 record. This marks the third straight week the Gorloks have received votes in the poll.

The Gorloks are currently 19-2 on the season and 9-1 in SLIAC play. They have won their last seven straight including a 98-59 win over Greenville (Ill.) University last Wednesday and an 84-71 win over Fontbonne (Mo.) University on Saturday. Their last loss came nearly a month ago on January 11^th against Greenville.

Julie Baudendistel, the reigning SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, has been on a tear lately as she has scored in double figures in eight of her last nine games. Last week, she averaged a double-double as she scored a career high 30 points against Greenville and followed that up with a career high 16 rebounds against Fontbonne. She currently sits at 1,152 career points which ranks fifth all-time on the Gorloks scoring list.

Webster currently ranks in the top 10 nationally in five statistical categories including eighth in assists per game (17.8), fifth in field goal percentage (45.6%), 10^th in points scored (1,686), seventh in scoring offense (80.3), and sixth in turnovers forced per game (27.52). They also rank 15^th in scoring margin (20.7), 14^th in steals per game (14.9), 12^th in turnover margin (8.86), and 12^th in winning percentage (.905).

The Gorloks return to the court on Wednesday, February 8^th when they host the Eureka (Ill.) College Red Devils for a SLIAC matchup. The game is set to start at 5:30 p.m. in Grant Gymnasium.
