ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University women's basketball team is ranked 25
th in the latest WBCA NCAA Division III Top 25 Coaches' Poll. This marks the first time in program history the Gorloks have been ranked in the top 25 of the WBCA Coaches' Poll.
The Gorloks are currently 19-0 on the season and 12-0 in conference play. They rank third nationally in steals per game (18.0), turnover margin (16.16), and turnovers forced per game (32.37) while ranking fourth in scoring offense (83.6) and scoring margin (28.9). They also rank 7
th in field goal percentage (46.4%) while ranking in the top 25 in assists per game (17.1) and free throws made per game (16.0).
Julie Baudendistel leads the way for the Gorloks as she is averaging a team high 16.2 points per contest.
Bethany Lancaster is also having a great season as she is averaging 12.6 points and a team high 7.3 rebounds per game. In addition,
Kate Rolfes is averaging 13.5 points per game,
Emily Wilson is averaging 11.7 points per game, and
Nysa Gilchrist has dished out a team high 49 assists on the year.
Jordyn Grimes leads the team with 55 steals while averaging 7.7 points per game.
The Gorloks will return to the court on Wednesday, January 31
st when they travel to Louisville, Kentucky, to take on the Spalding (Ky.) University Golden Eagles for a SLIAC matchup. The game is set to start at 5:30 p.m. EST.
