WU's Ethan Nieroda Named SLIAC Runner Of The Week For Second Consecutive Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who were either named Runner or Player of the Week for the week of September 9-15. Webster's Ethan Nieroda has been named the SLIAC Runner of the Week for the second consecutive week after a stellar 6k performance at the Hanover Invitational on September 14.

At the Hanover Invitational, Nieroda navigated his way up and down the rolling hills and ran the tight corners with excellence as he was the first Gorloks to cross the finish line with a time of 20:44.2.
With that time, Nieroda now ranks 14th on the all-time 6k Webster men's cross country record books.

"Ethan has got off to a strong start to the season. In every meet we've been to, he's competed hard against the competition. We've only had two meets so far and he's earned runner of the week after both meets – you can't ask for much more than that!" said Head Coach Kyle Robinson.
