Gorloks Conclude Action At Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Webster University men's track and field team got in their attempts of the indoor regular season before conference championships by competing in the IC Hilltop Classic at Illinois College Friday evening.

In the 60m dash, sophomore Dylan Patterson secured a second place finish with a time of 7.00 seconds.

In the 200m dash, Patterson earned a seventh overall finish with a time of 22.94 seconds.

In the high jump, junior Austin Merritt placed ninth overall with a mark of 1.75m which was his third attempt.

In the 60m hurdles, Merritt recorded a time of 9.36 seconds.

In the pole vault event, first-year Elijah Bohler recorded a mark 3.85m on his first attempt.

The Gorloks will travel to Principia College on Saturday, March 1 to compete in the SLIAC Indoor Championships in Elsah, Illinois.
