Govero Selected As SLIAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has released the names of the student-athletes who were selected as either Player of the Week or Athlete of the Week for the spring sports. WU's Mark Govero was selected as the SLIAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 14-20. 

Last Friday at the Twilight Meet hosted by Rose-Hulman, Govero was crowned the champion in pole vault event with a clearance of 4.57m (15'0").

In addition, he is the current SLIAC leader in the pole vault event.
