Men's Cross Country Kyle Jones

Halter Paces Gorloks At Bradley Intercollegiate Championships

PEORIA, Ill. - The Webster University men's cross country team traveled up Interstate 55 to Detweiler Park and competed in the 8k Bradley Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Bradley University Friday evening. WU's first-year Brayden Halter led the team with a time of 28:20.60. 

Fellow first-year Simon Muthemba was the second Gorlok that crossed the finish line as he recorded a time of 28:46.30. Two-time SLIAC All-Conference selection Ethan Nieroda was the second Gorlok to finish as he recorded a time of 29:08.10.

Between the 30th and 32nd minutes, Johnny Imboden and first-year Gabe Feaman crossed the finish line with times of 30:15.00 and 32:09.80 respectively. Shortly later, junior runner Jacob Hawkins finished with a time of 33:40.90 while Tyler Mooney recorded a time of 35:40.09. First-year Dalton Bartlett rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 36:27.50.

The Gorloks will have a break between races will resume their schedule on Saturday, October 11th by competing in the Trojan Invitational hosted by Hannibal-LaGrange University.
