Men's Cross Country Kyle Jones

Six Gorloks Achieved New Personal Records At Panther Prowl XC Classic Meet

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Webster University men's cross country traveled to Yellow Creek Park and competed in the Panther Prowl XC Classic Friday evening. All six Gorloks achieved a new personal record in the 6k race. 

First-year Simon Muthemba led the way for Webster with a time of 21:01.7. Nearly a minute later, Johnny Imboden crossed the finish line with a time of 22:00.3. 

Less than two minutes later, Jacob Hawkins and Gabe Feaman crossed the finish line with times of 23:41.6 and 23:41.7 respectively. 

First-years Tyler Mooney and Dalton Barlett achieved their new personal records with times of 24:14.6 and 26:40.3 respectively. 

"The guys had a great day. We were missing a few guys today, but we pushed through to make it a good day. All of the guys PR'd in the 6k today. I'm very happy with the progress we have made" said Head Coach Kyle Robinson.

The Gorloks will continue their season on Friday, September 19 competing in the Bradley Intercollegiate hosted by Bradley University at Detweiler Park in Peoria, Illinois.
