LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Webster University women's cross country team competed at the Louisville Classic on Friday, with all five Gorloks posting either a personal record or season-best time while previewing the course that will host the conference championship later this season.

Lydia Imboden led the way for Webster, finishing 165th overall with a time of 27:58.5. Selene Ahlersmeyer followed in 178th at 29:00.3, while Ayanna Lyons placed 191st in 30:11.3. Brie Inman finished 199th with a time of 31:35.6, and Marissa Usher rounded out the Webster lineup in 204th at 34:01.9.

Imboden improved her personal record by 2:33, while Ahlersmeyer and Lyons each posted new personal records by 4:19 and 2:17, respectively. Usher also recorded a personal-best improvement of 9:13, while Inman posted a season-best time by 2:37.

"We saw some significant progress from our ladies today. We had a few who weren't able to compete today, but everyone who did race ran either a new PR or a season best. I am very pleased with where we are at one month out from conference," said Webster head coach Kyle Robinson.

Webster returns to action Friday, Oct. 16 at the Bradley Pink Classic. The meet is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois.
