ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who were named Player of the Week for the week of February 16-22. WU's Meghan Illingworth was named the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. 

Last week, the Gorloks concluded the regular season with two road conference victories; a 77-65 victory over Lyon College and a 68-53 victory over MUW. 

In the decision against Lyon College, Illingworth led the team with her second double-double of the season of 18 points and 10 rebounds. In addition, she recorded one assist, one block, and one steal.

In the game against MUW, Illingworth led the team with 21 points while collecting six rebounds. In addition, she recorded two assists and two steals. 

For the week, she averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 block per game. 

With this selection, it marks her first of the season.
