The Ethics Committee of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) proudly presented the Webster University Women's Soccer team with the Team Ethics Award of Merit.  The award is given to soccer team that accumulate no red cards and have a maximum of five yellow cards throughout the season.

The Gorloks received only four yellow cards over the course of the 20 game season.  The team had previously received recognition from the NSCAA with a Team Academic Award for 2009.  Christy Capkovic (JR, Mehlville HS, STL) and Kristy Garlich (SR, Hazelwood West HS, STL) were voted NSCAA All-Region Scholars for 2009 as well.
