Webster Soccer's Bloma And Pagan Land On NSCAA All-Central Region

Webster University women's soccer players Elena Bloma and Brianna Pagan were voted to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) 2016 NCAA III All-Central Region Third Team.  Pagan becomes just the second player in team history to be named to the All-Central Region Team three years, and the first to be named in their first three seasons.

Pagan (SO, St. Louis, MO/Washington), a midfielder for the Gorloks, had five goals and a team-high seven assists this past season.  She now has the distinction of garnering both All-Central Region and SLIAC First Team recognition in all three seasons of collegiate play.  Pagan was also named the MVP of the 2016 SLIAC Tournament.

Bloma (JR, St. Louis, MO/Eureka) anchored the stingy Gorlok defense that recorded seven shutouts and for her efforts was voted the 2016 SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year.  She was named to the SLIAC First Team All-Conference as well.  Bloma has landed on the All-Conference Team all three years she has played for the Gorloks.

Webster was 9-0 in the SLIAC this year, winning the title for a fifth straight season, going 42-2 in the SLIAC over that period.  The Gorloks won the 2016 SLIAC Tournament to advance to the NCAA III Championships.

Congratulations to Elena and Brianna on their selections to the 2016 NSCAA All-Central Region Team.
