WEBSTER GROVES – In today's eighth Tuesday Top 5, which delves into some of the top five statistical lists in the history of Webster University Athletics, we look at the Top 5 totals for career singles wins in the history of the men's tennis program. These statistical lists are based on actual rankings by the statistic or category listed with information on each of those student-athletes in the Top 5 rankings. 

Today's Tuesday Top 5 looks at the Top 5 totals for career singles wins in men's tennis. This group of five Gorlok men's tennis players accounted for 181 wins during their playing careers in tennis the five players combined to post an all-time record of 181-60, which is good for a .751 all-time winning percentage. Ironically, four of the all-time leaders in career singles wins all played together at Webster from 2010-13.

Listed below are the Top 5 all-time leaders in singles wins in the history of Webster University men's tennis. 
 
Ricky Eaves (2010-13) – 43 wins … In his four years as a Gorlok, Eaves rewrote the school's men's tennis record book as along with winning a school record 43 singles matches, he also won a school record 35 doubles matches. In his career, Eaves, who was a six-time All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection, including earning four of those six honors in singles, posted a 43-11 record in singles and tallied a .796 career winning percentage in singles. Eaves won 12 or more singles matches in three of his four seasons, including a single season school record 18 singles wins as a senior in 2013. In 2013, he posted an 18-2 record and a .900 winning percentage, which is third on the school's single season singles winning percentage chart. Along with his single season school record 18 singles wins in 2013, Eaves also won 13 singles matches in 2010 as he went 13-4 and won 12 singles matches in 2012 as he went 12-4 that season. He played 24 of his singles matches at the No. 3 spot in the Gorlok line-up and went 20-4 at that spot. In addition, he was 1-0 at No. 1 singles, 3-3 at No. 2 singles, 7-1 at No. 4 singles, 9-2 at No. 5 singles and 2-0 at No. 6 singles. The 20 wins at No. 3 singles are the most in the program's history.
 
Diego Alarcon (2010-13) – 42 wins … Alarcon, who played with Eaves at Webster from 2010-13, is the program's second all-time winningest player in singles as he won 42 matches and posted a 42-15 overall record for a winning percentage of .737. Alarcon is one of two Gorloks in school history to win 40 or more career singles matches. Along with winning 42 career singles matches, Alarcon is also second on the school's all-time chart in career doubles wins as he won 31 and posted a 31-22 record in doubles. In his time as a Gorlok, Alarcon won at least 12 singles matches three times in four seasons, including winning 16 singles matches as a senior in 2013. The 16 singles are third on the school's single season chart. He also won 13 singles matches in 2012 and went 13-3 and also won 12 singles matches in 2010 as he tallied a 12-5 record. He was a five-time All-SLIAC selection, including being a three-time selection in singles and earned First-Team All-SLIAC honors in singles in 2010. He combined to play 53 of his career singles matches at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles as he was 18-12 at No. 1 singles and 20-3 at No. 2 singles. The 18 career wins at No. 1 singles are third on the school's all-time chart, while his 20 wins at No. 2 singles are tops in the program's history.
 
Charlie McGhee (2016-19) – 34 wins … The only Gorlok to sit in the Top 5 of the career singles wins chart that did not play during the 2010-13 season as McGhee won 34 career matches in singles from 2016-19. His 34 singles wins are third on the school's career chart as he posted a 34-20 record and a .630 career singles winning percentage. In his time at Webster, McGhee earned All-SLIAC honors in singles as a freshman in 2016. His top season in singles wins came in 2016 and 2019 as he won 12 matches in both of those season as he was 12-2 in 2016 and 12-7 in 2019. Along with being third on the school's all-time list in singles wins, he is fourth in career doubles wins with 19. He played matches in singles at all six spots in the line-up with 23 of those matches coming at the No. 3 spot where he went 13-10. He also went 1-0 at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles, while going 8-2 at No 6 singles, 7-8 at No. 4 singles and 4-0 at No. 5 singles. The 13 singles wins at the No. 3 spot are third on the school's all-time chart.

Agustin Villalba (2010-13) – 32 wins … Villalba played at Webster from 2010-13 and in those four years, he won 32 singles wins and those 32 singles wins are fourth on the school's all-time chart. In his career, he posted a 32-11 record and compiled a .744 singles winning percentage, which is ninth on the school's all-time chart. During his time as a Gorlok, Villalba won at least 10 singles in two of his four years, including winning 17 singles matches as a senior in 2013, The 17 singles wins in 2013 are second on the school's single season chart as he posted a 17-4 record that season. He also won 10 matches in 2010 and posted a 10-6 record. As a Gorlok, Villalba was a three-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning All-SLIAC honors in singles in 2013. In addition to his 32 career singles wins, Villalba won 15 doubles matches in his career. He played most of his singles matches at both No. 2 and No. 3 singles as he was 14-3 at the No. 3 spot and 11-3 at the No. 2 spot. In addition, he went 5-4 at No. 1 singles. The 14 singles wins at the No. 3 spot are second on the school's career chart.
 
Josh Sellmeyer (2010-13) – 30 wins … The fourth player on the career singles win chart that played at Webster from 2010-13, Sellmeyer won 30 career singles matches and posted a 30-3 career record for a school record .909 career singles win percentage. Along with being fifth on the school's all-time chart in singles wins with 30, Sellmeyer, who was named to the SLIAC 2010-19 All-Decade Men's Tennis Team last week, won 35 career doubles matches and those 35 doubles wins are third on the school's all-time chart. During his career, he won 13 or more singles matches in two of his four seasons as he won 15 singles matches as a senior in 2013 and posted a 15-3 record. In addition to the 15 singles wins in 2013, Sellmeyer won 13 singles matches in 2012 as he posted a 12-0 record and that 1.000 winning percentage is tops on the school's single season chart. Sellmeyer was a four-time All-SLIAC selection as he earned two of those All-SLIAC accolades in singles in 2012 and 2013. Won double-digit singles matches at both No. 4 and No. 5 singles in his career as he was 12-2 at the No. 4 spot and 10-0 at the No. 5 spot. Additionally, he was 7-1 at No. 6 singles and 1-0 at No. 3 singles. He holds the school's all-time marks for singles wins at both No. 4 singles and No. 5 singles.
