ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The 2023 Webster University women's soccer schedule has been released. The Gorloks will open their season with two home games as they will host the Maryville (Tenn.) College Scots on Friday, September 1st, and the Millikin (Ill.) University Big Blue on Wednesday, September 6^th at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.

The Gorloks will take their first road trip of the season on Sunday, September 10^th when they travel to Lisle, Illinois, to take on the Benedictine (Ill.) University Eagles for a nonconference matchup. They will then be back home for their next two games as they will take on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on Friday, September 15th, and Beloit (Wis.) College on Sunday, September 17^th.

Webster will be back on the road on Wednesday, September 20^th when they travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, for a matchup against the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Fightin' Engineers. The Fightin' Engineers went 10-3-6 on the season last year while winning the HCAC Tournament and advancing to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Tournament.

The Gorloks will open conference play on Tuesday, September 26^th when they host the Blackburn (Ill.) College Beavers at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. The game is set to kick-off at 5 p.m.

Webster will play their final nonconference game of the season on Tuesday, October 3^rd when they travel down Big Bend Road to take on the Washington (Mo.) University Bears. The Bears went 11-5-7 on the season last year and made a run to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Championship Quarterfinals where they lost to Messiah (Pa.) University in penalties.

The Gorloks will take on the 2022 SLIAC Regular Season Champion, Fontbonne (Mo.) University, on Saturday, October 14^th at 1 p.m. at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. They will then travel to Greenville, Illinois, on Saturday, October 21^st to take on the Greenville (Ill.) University Panthers in a rematch of last year's SLIAC Semifinal matchup.

The women's soccer team will play their final home game of the regular season on Tuesday, October 24^th when they host the Principia (Ill.) College Panthers for a SLIAC matchup. Their regular season will conclude on Saturday, October 28^th when they make their first ever trip to Batesville, Arkansas, to take on the newest member of the SLIAC, Lyon (Ark.) College.

The SLIAC Tournament is set to take place from Tuesday, October 31^st to Saturday, November 4^th with the higher seed hosting each of the games.
