ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the Player of the Week Awards for the week ending on Sunday, September 19^th. For her efforts this past week, Courtney Haneline was named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Haneline, a freshman goalkeeper out of Loveland, Ohio, played a big role in the Gorloks two games last week. She recorded six saves in a 2-1 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and then followed that up with one save in her first career solo shutout on Sunday against Beloit (Wis.) College. Haneline is currently 3-2 between the pipes on the season and has recorded 20 total saves.

The Gorloks will return to the field on Wednesday, September 20^th when they travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, to take on the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Ind.) Fightin' Engineers for a nonconference matchup. The game is set to start at 5:30 p.m. EST.
