WU’s Isabella Dickneite Named SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who have been named Player of the Week from the week of October 7-14. WU's Isabella Dickneite was named the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the sport of women's soccer.

Last week, the Gorloks continued conference play with a home match against Spalding University and shut out the Golden Eagles by the final of 3-0. With that victory, Webster extended their unbeaten streak to four matches.

In the match, Dickneite scored the game-winning goal in the seventh minute which was a header-goal that was assisted by Mayrin Soto which marks her third goal of the season. In addition, Dickneite led the defensive unit that only allowed one shot by the SLIAC leading scorer in Emma Livingston.
