Alex Raetzloff is a 2009 Webster graduate with a BA in History.  As an outfielder on the Webster baseball team, the Gorloks won three SLIAC Championships and made three NCAA III Tournament appearances.  The team compiled a 74-13 record in the SLIAC during that period (2006-09). Raetzloff was an ABCA Third Team All-American in 2008 and was All-Central Region in 2007 and 2008.  He was a SLIAC All-Conference First Team selection in 2007, as he batted .399, and in 2008 as he batted .409 and had a .773 slugging pct.  Raetzloff wound up with a career .352 batting average, a .562 slugging pct., and a .460 on-base pct.   A graduate of Hazelwood Central High School in St. Louis, he was a Post-Dispatch Second Team All-Metro selection in 2004.  Raetzloff was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and is currently employed as a foster care case worker for Great Circle in St. Louis.
