Austin Loeffler was a three-sport athlete at Webster as he lettered in men's soccer from 2000 to 2004, men's tennis from 2001 to 2004, and men's golf from 2003 to 2005. In soccer, Loeffler was a four-time All-SLIAC recipient including First Team All-SLIAC honors in 2002 and 2003 while being named NSCAA All-Region in 2003. He was a four-year team captain including his freshman season when helped lead the team to a SLIAC Championship and a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer National Championships. He helped lead the Gorloks to a 35-30-10 overall record in his four season and a 32-17-7 mark in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. He appeared in 71 career matches scoring 18 goals, including three game winners, and had 11 assists for 47 career points. He tallied 162 career shots which is tied for second most in program history while his 47 points and 18 goals are tied for 15th all-time. In golf, Loeffler recorded a scoring average of 86.1 through 15 rounds. He finished in 13th place in the 2005 SLIAC Championships after carding a 248 and helped lift the team to their second ever SLIAC Championship Title. In tennis, Loeffler won 12 career singles matches and four career doubles matches while posting records of 12-18 in singles and 4-23 in doubles. He led the team in singles wins from 2001-2003 while competing in #1 singles, #3 singles, #4 singles, and #5 singles. For his efforts in a Gorlok uniform, Loeffler was named the Webster Athletics Male Athlete of the Year in both 2002 and 2003. Loeffler graduated from Webster with a B.S. degree in Accounting in 2004 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Delmar Mortgage in St. Louis.Â
