Ricky Eaves was a four-year letter winner on the men's tennis team from 2010 to 2013. He was a six-time All-SLIAC selection including four straight in singles from 2010 to 2013 and two straight doubles selections in 2011 and 2012. He was named First Team All-SLIAC on three different occasions including in singles in 2012 and 2013 and doubles in 2012. His 43 singles wins ranks second all-time on the Webster men's tennis singles wins list, while his 35 doubles wins is the most in program history. He also holds the single season mark for wins as he finished with 18 as a senior in 2013. He posted a 43-11 record in singles throughout his career including 20 wins in the #3 singles spot. He finished his career with a .796 winning percentage in singles and a .700 winning percentage in doubles which rank fourth and third on the Gorloks all-time list, respectively. Eaves went 23-9 throughout his career at #2 doubles including 13 wins in the 2012 season which is tied for the second most in a single season. In SLIAC play, Eaves went 15-1 in singles and 11-2 in doubles. He helped lead the team to a 58-17 overall record throughout his career including a school record 19 wins in the 2013 season. The Gorloks finished as the runners-up in the conference tournament three of the four years Eaves was a part of the program. For his efforts, he was named to the 2010's Webster Athletics Men's Tennis All-Decade Team and was named the 2010's Men's Tennis Co-Player of the Decade. Eaves is currently employed by the St. Louis City Police Department.
