Nine Gorloks Earn All-Conference Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the women's soccer all-conference teams as well as the superlative awards for the 2022 season. The Gorloks placed three players on the first team, two on the second team, and four on the third team. In addition, Angie Calabrese was named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
First Team All-SLIAC
 
Grace Rodgers, a sophomore forward out of O'Fallon, Missouri, started 19 of the 20 games she appeared in this season. She finished the regular season tied for the team lead with 13 goals while posting a team high 10 assists for a team high 36 points. She recorded three or more points in five games this season including a season high eight points against Blackburn (Ill.) College. She finished tied for third in the conference in goals (13), second in the conference in assists (10), and tied for second in the conference in points (36). Rodgers scored 12 of her 13 goals in conference play while recording three game winners in 14 conference games. In addition, she was named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week twice this season. This is her first career First Team All-SLIAC selection.
 
Mya Stegen, a sophomore defender out of St. Louis, Missouri, made 18 starts in 20 appearances for the Gorloks this season. She recorded three goals and two assists for eight total points on the year. She had the game winner in a 5-0 win over Principia (Ill.) College and posted 16 shots on target throughout the season. Of her eight points, six of them came in conference play including two goals and two assists. She also played a major role in the Gorloks 11 shutouts this season. This is her first career First Team All-SLIAC selection.
 
Reaghan Young, a senior defender out of Naperville, Illinois, made 12 starts in 13 appearances on the season. She recorded two goals and six assists for 10 total points on the year. She recorded a career high six points, including scoring the game winner, against Eureka (Ill.) College earlier this season. She was the leader on the Gorloks back line that allowed just 17 goals on the year while posting 11 total shutouts. Of her 10 total points on the year, nine of them came in conference play. In addition, Young was named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week once this season. This is her third straight First Team All-SLIAC selection.
 
Second Team All-SLIAC
 
Jordan Lande, a graduate student forward out of Sanchse, Texas, started all 20 games for the Gorloks this season. She finished tied for the team lead with 13 goals while posting two assists for 28 total points. Her 13 goals were tied for third in the SLIAC while her 28 points ranked sixth. In conference play, Lande scored 11 goals, including the game winner in a 1-0 win over Spalding, while posting 28 shots on target. She scored her first career hat trick against Eureka (Ill.) College and became just the second player in program history to reach 60 career goals. This is her fourth straight All-SLIAC selection and her second time on the second team.
 
Mackenzie Sundhausen, a sophomore midfielder out of St. Louis, Missouri, started 16 games in 18 appearances for the Gorloks. She scored four goals and added six assists for 10 total points on the year. All four of Sundhausens goals came in conference play including two game winners against Blackburn (Ill.) College and Spalding (Ky.) University. She recorded her first career hat trick and added an assist against Blackburn for a career high seven points. This is her second straight All-SLIAC selection and her first time on the second team.
 
Third Team All-SLIAC
 
Mackenzie O'Neal, a senior forward out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, started all 19 games she appeared in this season. She finished with five goals and five assists for 15 total points on the year. Of her 15 total points, all but two of them came in conference play including a career high five points against Blackburn (Ill.) College. She also recorded the game winner against Principia (Ill.) College while posting 22 shots on target throughout the season. This is her first career Third Team All-SLIAC selection.
 
Jordan Bilyeu, a graduate student midfielder out of St. Louis, Missouri, started nine games in 15 appearances for Webster this season. She scored one goal and added three assists for five total points on the year. All five of her points came in conference play with her lone goal coming against Eureka (Ill.) College. This is her third career All-SLIAC selection and first time on the third team.
 
Isabella Dickneite, a sophomore defender out of St. Louis, Missouri, started all 20 games for the Gorloks this season. She scored one goal and added three assists for five total point on the year. All five of her points came in conference play including a game winning goal against Eureka (Ill.) College. She played center back for a back line that allowed just 17 goals on the year and posted 11 shutouts. This is her first career Third Team All-SLIAC selection.
 
Taryn Banfield, a senior goalkeeper out of Plano, Texas, started 17 games in goal for the Gorloks this season. She posted a 10-5-1 overall record while recording nine shutouts on the season. Her nine shutouts on the season put her at 32 solo shutouts for her career which is the most in program history. She finished the regular season with 50 saves while allowing just 14 goals. She went 8-3-1 in conference play while being named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week once this season. This is her second straight season being named All-SLIAC and her first time being named third team.
