WEBSTER GROVES – In today's ninth Tuesday Top 5, which delves into some of the top five statistical lists in the history of Webster University Athletics, we look at the Top 5 totals for career rebounds in the history of the Webster women's basketball program. These statistical lists are based on actual rankings by the statistic or category listed with information on each of those student-athletes in the Top 5 rankings. 
 
The career rebounding record for women's basketball is oldest record still standing as the career rebounding mark of 934 rebounds was set by Mikki McCune from 1994-98. In the history of the Gorlok women's basketball program, only five players have recorded 600 or more career rebounds with three of those feats coming since 2001. This group of five women's basketball players combined to collect a total of 3,677 rebounds.

Listed below are the Top 5 all-time leaders in career rebounding for Webster University women's basketball. 
 
Mikki McCune (1994-98) – 934 Rebounds … During her four year career as a Gorlok from 1994-98, McCune pulled down a total of 934 rebounds and averaged 9.7 rebounds per game in her career, which is second on the school's all-time list. In her time as a Gorlok, McCune had three seasons of pulling down 230 or more rebounds, including collecting 258 boards in 1995-96. Those 258 rebounds are just one shy of the school's single season mark of 259 boards set by Courtney Pursley in 2013-14. Along with her 258 rebounds in 1995-96, McCune, who was an All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection as a senior in 1997-98, also recorded 256 rebounds in 1996-97 and 231 rebounds in 1994-95. She also had 189 rebounds as a senior in 1997-98. Along with being Webster's all-time leader in career rebounding, she is third on the SLIAC's career rebounding chart.
 
Angie Carr (2001-05) – 749 Rebounds … Carr sits second on the school's career rebounding chart as she pulled down 749 boards from 2001-05. Along with being second on the school's career rebounding chart, Carr is also 10th on the SLIAC's all-time rebounding chart. While she is second on the school's career rebounding charts, Carr is the school's all-time leading scorer as she scored 1,658 career points. Carr, who has been inducted into both the Wester Athletics and SLIAC Hall of Fames, had two seasons of recording 180 rebounds as she pulled down 240 boards in 2002-03 and 184 boards in 2004-05. The 240 rebounds in 2002-03 are tied for sixth on the school's single season chart. As a Gorlok, she was named a three-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection and was named the SLIAC Player of the Year as a senior in 2004-05. In addition, she was named an Honorable Mention Division III News All-American, one of just three women's basketball All-Americans in school history and was also the SLIAC Tournament MVP in 2005 as she led the Gorloks to the tournament title.
 
Debi Eydman (1992-95) – 701 Rebounds … During her three year Webster career, Eydman pulled down 701 rebounds in her career and those 701 rebounds are third on the school's all-time chart. Along with being third on the school's all-time rebound chart, Eydman averaged a school record 10.3 rebounds per game. In her career, she pulled down 200 or more rebounds in a season all three years, including recording 257 rebounds in 1993-94, which was third on the school's single season chart. In addition to her 257 boards in 1993-94, Eydman had 240 rebounds in 1994-95 and 204 rebounds in 1992-93. Along with being the school's all-time leader in rebounds per game average, Eydman also holds the school's single game rebound record as she pulled down 22 boards against Principia in 1994 and those 22 rebounds are tied for fifth most in a game in SLIAC history. In fact, Eydman, who will be inducted into this year's Webster Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021, has the top four single game rebounding highs in school history. As a Gorlok, she was a three-time All-SLIAC performer, including earning first team honors in both 1993-94 and 1994-95. She is one of only two women's basketball players in school history to score 1,000 points and pull down 700 rebounds.
 
Katy Meyer (2007-11) – 663 Rebounds … Meyer lettered at Webster from 2007-11 and in her four years, she pulled down 663 career rebounds, which is fourth on the school's all-time rebounding charts. Along with being fourth on the school's all-time rebounding charts, Meyer is third in career scoring with 1,194 points and pulled down 150 or more rebounds in three of her four seasons with a season high of 197 rebounds as a senior in 2010-11. She also had 68 boards in 2008-09 and 154 boards in 2009-10. Meyer, who has also been inducted into both the Webster Athletics and SLIAC Hall of Fames, was a four-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning first team honors in 2010-11 and was the SLIAC Tournament MVP in 2011 and a finalist for the Josten's Trophy in 2010-11 and a two-time Jewish Sports Review First-Team All-American in both 2009-10 and 2010-11.
 
Courtney Pursley (2010-14) – 610 Rebounds … Pursley closed out her four year Webster career with 610 career rebounds, which is fifth on the school's career rebounding chart. Along with pulling down 610 career rebounds, she recorded 200 or more rebounds in a season over her final two years as a Gorlok as she recorded a single season school record 259 rebounds in 2013-14 and had 209 rebounds in 2012-13. She is one four players in school history to record 250 or more rebounds in a single season. As a Gorlok, Pursley was a two-time All-SLIAC selection and was a three-time selection to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team.
